Morpheus é uma figura poderosa e simbólica, com raízes profundas na mitologia e na cultura moderna:

Morpheus é o deus dos sonhos, filho de Hipnos (o Sono).

Seu nome vem de morphé (“forma”), pois ele dava forma aos sonhos, especialmente os que pareciam reais.

Era conhecido por assumir aparências humanas nos sonhos, transmitindo mensagens aos mortais.
